The sleep stages section gives the user the ability to compare themselves against their personal average or other users like them. This gives them the ability to see progress over time as well as see how their sleep stacks up against expert recommended percentages.
The data shown in the blue chart gives users insight into their amount of time in each sleep stages over the course of a week. While the awake periods data lets the user see if there are any commonalities in the times or frequency they are waking up at. It also allows them to see improvement over time.
